Taaleri Telakka is one of two major owners of Rauma Marine Constructions Oy, the company operating the Rauma shipyard.
Taaleri Group has also invested in Taaleri Telakka. The company’s remaining shares are under Finnish ownership.
Taaleri Telakka is a limited partnership established in 2016, which accumulated approximately €10 million of investment commitments from some 50 investors.
The objective is to develop in Finland a genuine financially strong and efficient shipyard.
In January 2016, Taaleri Telakka, together with Finnish Industry Investment Ltd and Finda Oy, made a capital investment in Rauma Marine Construction Oy (RMC), the company operating the Rauma shipyard. RMC plans and implements shipbuilding projects, applying a network-based operating model based on long-term strategic partnerships. RMC is responsible for the management, finances and quality control of these shipbuilding projects. Its network model, leased facilities and position as the main driver at Seaside Industry Park in Rauma all give the company a competitive edge at a low general cost level.
